UNIVERSITY OF PARIS - SORBONNE
Located in the heart of Paris' Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious universities. Through the Sorbonne's Cours de Civilisation Française, students will be immersed in French language and culture while attending classes with students from all over the world. During the orientation, students complete a placement exam to determine the class level appropriate to their language skills. Classes range in size from 15-25 students.
All classes at the Sorbonne are taught entirely in French. The grammar classes range from complete beginner to very advanced. All instructors are native French speakers who have undergone extensive training at the Sorbonne in teaching French as a second language.
ACCENT works with the Sorbonne to offer programs that allow students to directly enroll in the Cours de Civilisation Française, either the Cours Classique (10 hours of language/week), the Cours Complet (10 hours of language/week + elective lectures in French civilization) or the Cours du Soir (6 hours of language/week, available in the Spring only). These programs often supplement the Sorbonne language courses with lectures in other disciplines taught by visiting or local faculty at the ACCENT Center.
ESCP EUROPE
ESCP Europe was the very first business school to open in France and has been welcoming students since 1819.

With 4,000 students per year and 125 permanent faculty members, ESCP Europe is the largest, cross-border school of management in Europe today. ESCP Europe is located in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Turin, enabling it to be international in every aspect of its activity.

ESCP Europe in Paris is a leader in management education, ranking among the top three business schools in France. In Paris, the school is supported by an influential alumni community and large corporate network.

ACCENT students attend classes at ESCP Europe through partnerships with their home universities, joining an international student body of close to 250 students every year.
NEGOCIA
NEGOCIA was founded in 1992 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP). It is now one of the leading French business schools. NEGOCIA houses a variety of prestigious programs, including an undergraduate business school, a graduate program and intensive courses for active professionals. NEGOCIA is dedicated to broadening its international horizons and offering its students opportunities to gain experience throughout the world.
Both French and international students study at NEGOCIA. Each year, NEGOCIA hosts students from partner institutions in Europe, Asia, Canada, and the United States.
By offering numerous courses in English, NEGOCIA has created a global classroom in which both French and international students are able to benefit from educational expertise in an intercultural setting.
NEGOCIA's aim is to prepare students for professional positions ranging from sales staff to top management in a global environment.
Students on ACCENT programs that attend NEGOCIA are enrolled directly into NEGOCIA's international semester and choose from courses offered in English to an international student body and approved by ACCENT and the sponsoring American college or university.
MICEFA
MICEFA is an organization which enrolls American students directly into classes with French students at their partner universities in Paris.

Students may choose from a wide variety of subject areas, usually relating to their major back home, and take all their classes entirely in French.

The MICEFA staff provides academic advice to students through their office located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.

ECOLE SPECIALE D'ARCHITECTURE
The Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture was founded in 1865 and aims to provide its students with the necessary training to design buildings of all types whilst taking into account their wider urban and environmental contexts.

Technical concerns have always been at the heart of the courses offered at the ESA, and students who qualify there leave with a wide range of practical skills for their future careers.

The ESA is always interested in broadening its international horizons, and collaborates with ACCENT programs which require special facilities for courses in architecture led by visiting faculty.

Situated in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, the studio space the ESA makes available to ACCENT programs is an ideal base for lectures which visiting faculty can supplement with field trips out and about in the streets of Paris and its suburbs.
INSTITUT CATHOLIQUE
A private university which has been welcoming students since 1875, the Institut Catholique is located in the chic and historical heart of Paris near Saint-Germain des Prés, and attracts a large number of international students every semester.
ACCENT works with the IC to offer French language and Civilization courses through the Institut de Langues et Culture Françaises. Language courses, taught in French, are offered at five levels, from beginner to high advanced, and students' class assignments are determined though a placement exam taken before the semester begins. Most civilization courses are also taught in French, but a number of options in English do exist.
Students with a sound grasp of French may decide to enroll directly with the Institut Catholique as 'auditors' and attend specialized lectures along with French students in selected classes made available to international students.
Most students attending class at the IC also take classes led by visiting or local faculty at the ACCENT Center.
